Within the context of the 400 years treaty between the Netherlands and Morocco, CvdBremen created a workshop on assignment by COS and the Textile Museum. The results were shown during a special Morocco day in the museum. During that day
former ‘guest workers’ told their stories next to the machines they once worked within the former textile factory. With the women of these guest workers CvdBremen organized a workshop where henna patterns (that are usually applied onto the skin)
were drawn and transferred into a pattern for a tablecloth and napkins. This pattern was woven into textile in the Textile Lab of the museum.
