From the African West coast to central Asia and beyond, henna or Mehendi is being applied as body decoration, mostly by brides to be. The different appearances, designs, traditions and applications are being shown in this presentation.

The diversity of henna patterns are a beautiful manifestation of cultures and traditions in graphical sense and there for an interesting source of inspiration, especially in relation to the stories and background information. (see also workshops)
